2019 Holiday Catalogue is now live for customers!

The new Christmas/holiday catalogue is here!! It might seem early to think about Christmas but it’s already September!!!  I know, I have no idea where July or August went!!!!

You can access the new catalogue  in pdf here:

Or contact me today if you don’t have a Demonstrator and would like a paper copy in your hands, so much better!

To kick off the new catalogue, I have a couple of little samples for you – to show off some of the lovely new stamps, designer series papers and special embellishments you will find in this catalogue.

The first is an adorable stamp set that features four different birds and sentiments that suit different celebrations. I have chosen the little Christmas chick you can see here;

Isn’t he sweet? I love the santa hat and the little star. The dsp I’ve used in the background of this card is from a suite called “Night Before Christmas Suite Bundle” full of lots of fun crafting products likes stamps, dies, memories and more cards and ribbon. The dsp is called “Night before Christmas” and is full of beautiful Christmas images that will enhance any project.

Can you see the little pom pom on his hat?? That 3D effect is made with a special new product called Snowfall Accents Puff Paint.  You can easily create 3D effects and add texture to cardstock , just apply paint to your project, heat set and paint puffs up. It is really amazing!!

The next card is using another new cute stamp set. I love to colour with ink and aquapainter or my Stampin’ Up! Blends.

I thought this image from the “Christmas Crowd” stamp set of Santa and his mates would be perfect for sending our family’s Christmas wishes to friends this Christmas.

I’ve again chosen a sheet of the dsp pack I used in the last card, reflecting the red of Santa’s suit.  You can see texture in Santa’s white beard where I’ve again used the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint.

So much fun!!

Hope you enjoyed my cards,

Happy Crafting

Angela

Cards for Father’s Day on September 1

Would you like to make a man in your life a handmade card to say “Happy Father’s Day” this year?  Made with love just for him?

Well you can!! Stampin’ Up! have a range of lovely masculine style images and embellishments that you can use to create lovely cards for friends and family. & I’m here to help you in your crafting journey!

Here are just a few ideas to hopefully inspire you that I made today and the products I used to make them. Remember the possibilities are endless when you make your own cards, you choose the images, colours and layout!

The first is a nautical themed Father’s Day card using the Sailing Home stamp set and Smooth Sailing  dies. I brayered the white cardstock with  Coastal Cabana and Pacific Point ink as a background – this is a really simple technique to colour cardstock. Then with memento black ink I stamped the birds and that lovely sailing boat. The lighthouse in the foreground was stamped on white cardstock and cut out with the matching die.

A little Lace & a new colour challenge!!

This card was inspired for two reasons; one was the beautiful colours chosen by the team on the Colour INKspiration challenge – here are the colours:

The second inspiration for my card was Emma Goddard’s card, a member of the Stampin’ Up!© Artisan design team (see her website: https://www.coastalcrafter.com/)

Here is my version using A LIttle Lace stamp set and this beautiful combination of colours.

Here is a close up of those faceted gems and cut-out flower images. Did you know that the large flower can be easily punched out using the Stampin’ Up!© medium daisy punch!! The small flower was really simple to fussy cut.

I also coloured one of the faceted gems with the Smoky Slate Blend to achieve the matching colour.

I love sequins!! Here was the perfect excuse to use the Seaside Spray sequins to highlight the sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this card, I loved making it and being part of this colour challenge  🙂

Have a lovely Day!!

Kylie’s Demonstrator training Blog Hop July 2019

Welcome to my IndigoStampin blog. My name is Angela & I’m a Stampin Up© Independent Demonstrator in Brisbane, Australia.

On this blog hop you are joining myself & many other demonstrators from around the world, who love to make cards and offer their customers and followers lots of inspiration for their own papercraft creations!

I am very excited to share my projects for the upcoming product based cardmaking class, Daisy Lane!! I have cased and adapted ideas from the catalogue and other demonstrators to come up with these projects. Here is the details of this lovely stamp set:

For my first card I have used the Daisy Lane stamp set and the larger Daisy punch to make this Highland Heather coloured daisy. Although it is the focus, encircling the flower is the delicate fern stamp in this set, stamped in Mossy Meadow and then stamped off once using this same colour. This set is found in the current Annual catalogue & is a new red rubber Cling set.

My next card is designed for stamping only, just in case you don’t yet have the co-ordinating punch or want 3D flowers 😉 I’ve chosen Mossy Meadow again and then Melon Mambo for the daisies with a little daffodil delight on my dauber in the centre.

The inside of the card needs a daisy too, don’t you think?

This next card is an uses the new in-colour, Rose Rococo as the focus. This beautiful gingham paper is from the Designer Series Paper, 6×6 pack. A few carefully choosen sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment finsih this simple, but effective card.

The last card is a case from the catalogue, something I really enjoy doing to get me familiar with the crafting elements of a suite or set.

Melon Mambo daisies with the outrageous Perennial Essence Floral Centers to finish the flowers really star in this card. I’ve curled up the edges of the crumb cake cardstock and added all of the layers on a new in-colour Seaside Spray cardbase. A little bit of ribbon finishes this lovely card off.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog, hope you enjoyed my cards.

Anyone living in Brisbane is very welcome to contact me (soon!) if you’d like to attend this card class. You will make 8 cards (plus another one that is a Birthday card), enjoy a lovely afternoon tea and some crafty company 🙂 It will be held:

Sunday 14th July 2019 1-3pm at Springfield Lakes

Happy crafting, Angela
